C. Sims Farr

C. Sims Farr (1920–2007) chaired the Commonwealth Fund Board of Directors from 1977 to 1993. A partner at the New York City law firm White & Case, he became a Fund director in 1968. Farr was on the board of the Wildlife Conservation Society and the board of visitors of Columbia Law School; he also served as counsel to the General Theological Seminary and chancellor to the Presiding Bishop.
